What do you REALLY lack faith in?

25 The disciples went and woke him, saying, "Lord, save us! We're going to drown!"

MT 8:26 He replied, "You of little faith, why are you so afraid?" Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm.

The disciples didn't lack faith so much in Jesus' ability to save them, they DID call out to Him, rather, their lack of faith was in Jesus' identity as Christ, that before Jesus' mission was complete, that He WOULD not drown. (See vs 27)

Upon thinking, I find myself wondering the same, when I ask for God's protection/provision/healing, what do I REALLY need faith for? His ABILITY? or His WILLINGNESS?

I need to seek more, believe more in Your love, trust more in my position as Your son, KNOW YOU MORE!
