Somehow, God just keeps drawing me back to this again. To be still and KNOW that He is God. He is in control, and that He loves me, is the most amazing and comforting thing in the world. Just reading psalm 8 again, it's just so filled with awe and disbelief that God, GOD would love man, would care for man, would make man to be over so many things. It's AMAZING!!!
Psalm 8
For the director of music. According to gittith.[a] A psalm of David.
1 O LORD, our Lord,
how majestic is your name in all the earth!
You have set your glory
above the heavens.
2 From the lips of children and infants
you have ordained praise[b]
because of your enemies,
to silence the foe and the avenger.
3 When I consider your heavens,
the work of your fingers,
the moon and the stars,
which you have set in place,
4 what is man that you are mindful of him,
the son of man that you care for him?
5 You made him a little lower than the heavenly beings[c]
and crowned him with glory and honor.
6 You made him ruler over the works of your hands;
you put everything under his feet:
7 all flocks and herds,
and the beasts of the field,
8 the birds of the air,
and the fish of the sea,
all that swim the paths of the seas.
9 O LORD, our Lord,
how majestic is your name in all the earth!

Good news,,,
... Has a momentum, has a force of its own. It's actually very HARD to stop the spread of good news. Something within the human nature WANTS to share about things which have happened, especially happy things!
Something within us just wants to be able to share in the joy of others. Something within us wants to celebrate with them.
so what about THE Good News? Perhaps it is time to ponder whether it really IS Good News to us, or whether it has become a routine part of life we take for granted.
Psa 8:3 When I consider your heavens,
the work of your fingers,
the moon and the stars,
which you have set in place,
4 what is man that you are mindful of him,
the son of man that you care for him?
Lord, let me NEVER lose the wonder that You love me and would send Your Only Son to die a painful and horrible death for me that He did not deserve. And let me never forget that Both of You did so willingly out of LOVE!

Jaywalking lessons...
No, I didn't.
I contemplated it. I was in a hurry, there were no cars, people were doing it.
So I thought: "What do I gain from this?!"
The answer was rather immediate: "You gain My favour."
Mat 6:33 But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Something to chew on...
Rev 21:14 The wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
The city in this verse talks about the New Jerusalem. Perhaps symbolically, but probably more in truth. Upon 12 men, the 12 apostles, God and Jesus and the Holy Spirit built the church. Much like the 12 foundations which hold the city up, which is the bride, which is the church. Just 12 ORDINARY men.
The thought?
Don't EVER doubt what God can do through you, if you will just surrender your life to Him.
